Inara Investments is a dynamic, Africa-focused investment and logistics firm with over 30 years of combined experience in building reliable, efficient, and secure trade corridors across the continent. With deep roots in logistics, infrastructure, and trade facilitation, we are more than just a service provider—we are your strategic growth partner.
From ports to borders, warehouses to mines, we operate across multiple industries and terrains—ensuring seamless flow of goods, services, and opportunities. We currently move 800+ metric tons of cargo daily, powering economies and connecting communities across Southern and Eastern Africa.
Our History
Founded in 1995 in Lusaka, Zambia, Inara Investments started as a small, family-owned business with a single truck and a big mission. Our founder, Shelina Jetha, saw an opportunity to disrupt the East African logistics industry by offering innovative, integrated, and personalized services to a traditionally focused market. Ms. Jetha leveraged her family’s history and experience in the haulage industry to make her mark with Inara Investments.
Over the years, we have grown significantly thanks to our founder and team’s commitment to end-to-end supply chain excellence, innovation, and safety / security. From our humble beginnings, we have expanded our fleet, diversified our services, and broadened our reach to serve clients across Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Mozambique and Namibia. Yet, we remain true to our roots by upholding the values of integrity, innovation, and dedication.
Our journey has been marked with significant milestones, including the introduction of our warehousing operations in 2016, and our recent expansion into Mozambique in 2017. Each step has been enabled by our dedicated employees. Today, Inara Investments is recognized as a trusted, reliable, and efficient leader in the Industry.
